Sync Traktor Pro and Pro Tools

I was wondering if anyone had any information on syncing Pro Tools 8 Le and Traktor Pro 2. I have searched the net up and down to find only a tutorial on the sync between traktor and ableton live. Im sure it is possible but I just cant figure out how to accomplish it. I am on OSX btw. Thanks

Or even if you could achieve the same effect using a standalone effect unit syncing it with Traktor so the effects could be used in sync with the music playing in traktor. Also if you could do this with standalone instruments so that the instruments played would be synced up. Thanks

send the midi clock from traktor to Pro Tools?

I tried searching around and playing with it to get that to work but it just doesnt… maybe im doing it wrong but i suppose thats why im asking haha
