Syncing two traktors
So has someone sucesfuly synced two traktors with the OSC(open sound control)? I just cant get it to work. No matter witch computer is set to “slave” it cant find the master . Are there some Ethernet setting or something else i need to setup.
So did someone get it to work?
Traktor doesn’t support an external clock - therefor two Traktors cannot be synced.
Although MIDI sync is not an option, you’ve two others -
Visually, using traktor’s pitch displays
Or, good old fashioned beatmatching

Not sure about that. I know it cant receive midi, but OSC should be a solution to that. As i know some people got it working. Also Hawtin and the crew do it over OSC, so how do they do it? The problem is there is no Scan button or something to se who is connected on ethernet, cause they removed the Detailed OSC menu, witch is describen in the manual.
So???
Also does Ableton support OSC??
Hawtin is the only one using Traktor in his crew.
Ill look into this OSC setup some more and get back to you

speedy j and chris liebing are syncing unless i am REALLY mistaken.
I need to acquisition my old mans computer so i can give this a go, i might start using this system to jam with a friend when he gets his midi gear - should be interesting

You cant sync 2 traktor pros without doing it manually, hopefully 1.1 fixes this issue.
Bento did they mention anything in the notes on this or on the TPro forums?

On T3 you can do it thought OSC - ive still gotta get my hands on another pc to test this though.
right i know you can do it through osc i just dont know the proper way to set it up
anywho check the KORG ZERO 4 and TRAKTOR thread i exactly explained what im trying to accomplish
