TP2.8 Remix Deck Mapping
To those who have updated to 2.8 (I have not).. Does the ‘sample page selector’ have an option for 8 pages? Given the 8 pad layout of the S8 and D2, seems like a logical move.
S8 came out with 2.7 and there wash’t update to the number of sample page modifier states back then. Those 8 pages are written to the S8 and D2 native mappings.
I thought they introduced the ability to map the performance pads in 2.8 though. I figured this would be the time to make an appropriate change in the controller manager. I have ideas for an F1 mapping that hinge on the ability to map 8 pages of 8 pads, maybe something for my DDJ-SP1 too. Hopefully it’ll come sooner than later, I’m sure with all the 8 pad controllers out there, I can’t be the only one interested in this. Thanks for the info Stewe!
You can totally build an 8 pages system out of a single modifier - mapping this to my Twister as we speak.
Page #1: Mx=0
Page #2: Mx=1
Page #3: Mx=2
Page #4: Mx=3
Page #5: Mx=4
Page #6: Mx=5
Page #7: Mx=6
Page #8: Mx=7
