Tracktor S2-Pro 2 install - at activation get "service center not working

I have installed everything/uninstalled/ reinstalled and when i get to the step of “Activating” a screen pops up for a second and then error message says Service center not working. I don’t have a chance to click on anything once I hit the activate button - within 1-2 seconds, it shuts down and shows error message - Service center not working! Please help, I’m dying to use the S2.

That’s odd. Try downloading Service Center from NI’s site.

Just did that and still get the same message. The service center starts for about a second and then crashes with the same message, Service center not working. What can I do…I just want to use my brand new S2??? help

Did you check the event logs in Windows 7?

I did - but unfortunately I have no idea what most of that means. Sorry. What should I be looking for?
