When are they planning to release it?
Are we getting a free upgrade (the ones who bought Traktor before).

If they keep the model they’ve been using they will send users an email notification during the previous week and you will see a new thread the moment it shows up on their website or service centre by a renown stalking texan mod.
that sir, is a scary picture. But I believe it will be a free update, and yeah prob the week before November 1st if they do it like they did the Maschine update
Generally, software updates that are after the decimal point are free. The ones where a new number starts are the ones they charge for.
So Traktor 3 would probably the one you have to pay for. 2.6 will be free.

Wow. Is that guy on drugs? It’s hard to find a gear reviewer that’s so unprepared and saying “uhm” that much.
He does know what he’s talking about but damn son, he sure is busy with moving from foot to foot.
It’s an NI guy, not a reviewer.
It’s the new “Um” feature in the new update.
In regards to the Z2, imo if you cant control 4 decks at the same time, it’s NOT a 4 deck controller.
That’s one of the NI reps who was at BPM (Christian, maybe?). I think he was either ill or hungover.

At a trade show you spend the large majority of your time answering specific questions about certain products. In this case he was told to just tell us about the mixer with no real conversation taking place like is normal.
Yeah, I have no problem with the umm’s when the guy is put on the spot and told to talk about the product for 15 minutes without preparation. I’ve seen people do worse than that with notes and teleprompters.
