Traktor 3.3 won’t Play my .m4a Files

Sort of a weird issue…

Since I got my laptop I use it exclusively for DJ’ing. The only problem is that my fresh install of Traktor 3.3 on my laptop will not play .m4a files.

I thought it was odd, but regardless I went ahead and installed the K-lite Codec pack v.4.17.

I can play .m4a files just fine in say, Windows Media Player, but they still won’t play in Traktor.

Any ideas, or I guess I should try the NI forum! :stuck_out_tongue:

as far as i know, traktor doesnt support .m4a (iTunes files), or codec packs. i just convert them to .mp3 and problem solved :]

Ah I see.

I solved the problem by installing the latest version of QuickTime (QuickTime Player User Guide for Mac - Apple Support) on my laptop :slight_smile:
