Traktor Audio 2 not recognized in Ableton Live 8?

Traktor Audio 2 not recognized in Ableton Live 8?

Hey guys been searching all over the web but I wasnt able to find any concrete information that could solve my issue. I recently installed Ableton Live 8 in hopes of using it with Traktor. When I go to Audio preferences to select the Audio 2 as my device its not listed. The only audio driver available is Core audio. I even tried to route it through one of my CDJ400’s but they didn’t show up either. All devices are recognized and available in my “Audio MIDI Setup”. Is there something I’m missing? or are these devices not capable of output through Ableton software? Same goes for JackOSX not listed just core audio. Thanks

-MacBook Pro
-OSX 10.6.8
-Latest Drivers (NI Traktor Audio 2)

are you going from traktor to ableton back out to the A2?

youll need jack osx or soundflower to do it (EDIT: i cant read)

Yeah thats the one I was following but even if I open Ableton up without Traktor the Audio 2 still is not listed in the audio device list…

Sorted it out. I was thinking I was supposed to change the Driver type from CoreAudio to Traktor Audio DJ 2. I didn’t think to use the core and change the ouputs. They were all listed there. 4 hours of trouble shooting, installing, re-installing, googling for this lol thanks anyways!

how did you sort this? I still cant see my Traktor audio 2 in ableton?!
