Traktor does not respond to midi in.. HELP!
Hey guys,
Been away a while gigging, but now I am back..
However. I have a major problem. At a gig last night, the laptop started to throw a fit, I think caused by overheating. I ran a disk scan today and it found some errors which it corrected.
However, traktor now will not respond to any midi commands from my VCI-100.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the software, and checked the the VCI-100 is actually working properly by using midi-ox and virtual DJ, all of which work fine with it.
Its also definitely ticked in the midi in/out options.
So whats up ?
I should add that this is with 1.1.2
is the MIDI light at the top lighting up when you use the controller?
It is.. but I have just fixed the issue myself.
One of the config files was corrupt.
These are NOT removed when you uninstall the software, you have to do it manually.
well, good times. I would have never found that
@DvlsAdvct: If you think it would help, and when i get the chance i can post up a list of config files and plist files that need to be manually trashed even after a full uninstall.
I think that would be amazing. I could just drop it in a file in case I ever need it.
Cool. Ill try get it done tomorrow. I know i have a full list for Mac & PC somewhere.
Will dig it out.
