Traktor Kontrol x1 with Hercules mk4?

So I have this little Hercules mk4 controller and it doesn’t really do that much beyond the basics and I was planning on investing in a traktor kontrol x1. the thing is, I want to be able to use both at once while doing live sets and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to run both at the same time. Anyone know if and/or how I’d set them up? Would I just need to have both plugged in?
