I’m in desperate need of some help. Since moving from Ableton to Traktor 4 months ago I’ve had a beautiful looking launchpad sitting and collecting dust. Recently had some success mapping my LPD8 to control hotcues on decks c & d and thought I’d have a go at mapping the launchpad to do the same thing and run it along side my digital jockey. Seems that mapping the launchpad is a different beast. I’ve tried automap but that program sucks and I just can’t get my head around katapult at all.
Traktor is recognising that the Launchpad is plugged in because when I add a device I can choose the Launchpad for the in and out ports but it’s not picking up any midi signals and I’ve been fiddling with it for a week!!
Can anyone offer some advice because I’d love to add this to my set up!!
I have it set up as a General Midi yeah. Ive tried the Learn function and nothing is recognised. The Midi Icon at eh top of Traktor (the one that looks like a mini controller) is lit up orange instead of light blue. Not sure if this means anything but its all i have.
wa gna say talk to Gil-Chill but i see you already did, sorry i can’t be any more help than that. I think you might have to force yourself into katapult and try not to get thrown back out again (chortle).
