Traktor LE+Mixtrack+DJ IO Setup Help!

I just bought a Numark DJ IO to use with my Numark Mixtrack and I need help with setting it up. I plugged my RCA to headphone in output 1 of the DJ IO and then the headphone jack into the back of my external computer headphones. Then I plugged my iPod headphones in the headphone output of the DJ IO. Of course my usb cable is connected in both. I need help configuring it in Traktor LE if this is all right. Thanks!

EDIT: I forgot to mention the only output routings I have are like 1: OUT 1, 2: OUT 2, 3: OUT 3, and 4: OUT 4. Those are my only options in the scroll down menu when choosing the outputs.

monitor is 3/4
master is 1,2

Well that got my speakers to work but no sound came out of my headphones. Could it be that iPod headphones don’t work with the DJ IO?

Make sure you have installed the numark driver… and try it backwards… Output Monitor 1/2 Master 3/4…

Nope no sound came from anywhere with those options…

Okay great! I have had this for 3 days now and I still figured out this mess. The faster you post your pics the better!

use my options and make sure you had the cue volume up in traktor, and a deck with cue on

im also assuming your using a 1/4inch adapter for your headphones, and that you put them in the right place

Okay so the problem is the 1/4 adapter… I didn’t know I needed one. They come with most DJ headphones right? Can you find them at Wal-Mart or local store? Do you think it will come with the refurbished Sennheiser HD205’s I am ordering from Amazon. I have never bought refurbished items before so quick question. Do the headphones come with the adapter, original packaging, manual, etc? Thanks.

Yeah, Theory28 has the right settings. Yeah you would need a 1/4 inch adapter plugged into the headphone output of the DJ IO. Also make sure that the CUE GAIN knob in the center top of the Mixtrack is turned up. That usually controls the volume of the headphones. The pictures might help.

Thanks aGhost. I called up my local radioshack and they said they have one for $2.79 so I will most likely pick one of those up tomorrow. Have you ever DJed with earbuds? How is it? I know there are some people out there who prefer it over over the ear headphones too. Have you done it before?

Oh well they went in and stayed there but they were just in there really deeply. Like the cord was almost inside the headphone jack…
