Traktor Question (Looping)

Whats up guys. This site is honestly unreal in terms of learning new shit. So hats off to that.

Quick question tho;
I’m using a Numark Mixdeck with Traktor Scratch Pro 2. I was wondering if it was possible to change my loops settings to the following; i hate pressing Loop in and loop out to make my loops, I more so like using set loops. I have a Loop In button, A Loop Out Button and a Reloop Button. Is it possible to map it so Loop In is shift down a size (be it, two bar loop to one, 1/2 to 1/4) etc, have Loop Out be the button to turn the loop on/off and have the Reloop Button be used to shift up a size?

Yes.

Under the Cue/Loop section of the Controller Manager all of those options are there. Set the Loop In button as Loop Size as Decrease and set the Reloop to be Increase. Set the Loop Out button be Set loop, should do it.

I set my Loop Out as “set loop” but how do you select Loop In persay as “Decrease” where is the decrease option?

loop size > direct > increase/decrease

Select ‘Loop Size’ and on ‘Interaction Mode’ select ‘Inc’ for increase or ‘Dec’ for decrease.
