Traktor Setup Question

Hey Friends!

I’m a self taught DJ who still has a lot to learn. I recently upgraded my build from a NI S4 to a Xone:92 Mixer with a Kontrol x1 mk2 controller along with a Audio 10.

My question refers to the options within traktor. Under the “Mixer” settings, is it safe to assume that I should choose “Xone” EQ type since I use 4 bands? Would the same apply for the Filter type as well?

those settings only affect the internal sound coming out of traktor.

and since you’re mixing external, none of those settings actually matter unless you plan to turn the knobs in the software.

Mate, set mixer mode to external and you use the mixer as normal. It is possible to still use traktor’s EQ’s even in external mode but the XF and Volume Faders are disabled.
