Traktor / Traktor S2 Problem.
Hey guys…
i’m having a problem with traktor, i don’t if it’s my S2, Traktor or my PC itself. The problem is that sometimes the audio freezes, it’s like it changed my audio output all of sudden, the volume led output on my S2 freezes, the track freezes and the S2 stops functioning, i have to turn it on and off to continue playing..
happened to anyone here?>
Does the Traktor freeze as well?
What are your PC specs?
No, traktor does not freeze. My pc specs are :
Pentium r dial core cpu e5300 @ 2.60ghz
1.50gb ram
Windows 7 utimate.
Traktor runs smoothly even though its an old pc, i dont really know whats the problem.
Have you tried updating drivers? Also, are you running 2.5.1 or some previous version?
Yes im running 2.5.1 with the latest drivers.
you should really upgrade your RAM, that isn’t sufficient for optimal use and it’s cheap to do…
Also optimise your pc by turning off non-essential programs using “task manager”
Make sure your wifi and bluetooth are disabled when using traktor
And finally bump up your latency to around 12-15ms if you still have problems.
I don’t believe ram is the reason, i mean the program never lags, it just suddenly freezes when too much shit is going on, like when i set a loop and manually adjust it using the jogwheel, or when i spray the shit out of the delay..
Have you tried latencymon?
sounds like a processor problem. try latencymon as pancaker suggested
