Upgrading from Traktor Pro 2 to Traktor Scratch Pro

Hello fellow DJs,

I recently made the switch from Serato to Traktor:thumbsup:
but I am having a difficult time upgrading from Pro to Scratch. Even though I have the full product and it has been registered and activated, I get an error message stating “You have tried to activate an update or upgrade, but your User Account does not contain the full product license that this upgrade is based on”. I contacted Native Instruments 4 business days ago and still no answer. :rage:
Could someone please shed some light on this issue? Thanks

From my understanding you cant upgrade from pro to scratch pro, you must purchase the scratch pro software

You can upgrade from pro to scratch pro by purchasing the traktor s4 scratch upgrade (you dont need an s4).

What products have you purchased exactly?

you need a traktor scratch certified soundcard too. Audio 4/6/8/10. You got one of those?

I bought a new S4, and since I have a pair of 1210s, I bought the
control vinyl and the Traktor Scratch upgrade download from N.I.
Is it possible to use turntables with the S4 without the Audio 8? Thanks for your help

it should work with the S4 …

I have an S4 with Traktor Pro 2. I purchased the Scratch Upgrade kit and it activated TSP2 just fine.

Pioneer DDJ-T1 for Scratch Pro upgrade from Pro 2

Hi All,

My name is Kevin and I am new to this industry.

This is a great forum from the comments I have read.

I have a Pioneer DDJ-T1 running Traktor Pro 2.6. Without the S4, can I use my T1 to control TSP2 with a vinyl deck connected to the aux input of my T1?

Or do I need to get the whole TSP set incuding the A10?

You help will be greatly appreciated.
