VCI 100 SE - Latest Overlay & Firmware Test

Hey Guys (and hell, hopefully some Gals out there too),

So I just wanted to verify a few things before I go look at a VCI 100 SE tomorrow.

What is the Latest Overlay (and thus Mapping)?

I’ve found these two different overlays (online) and I assume that the shop is the latest, but I just want to verify that the djmx.de overlay is from an older version of the TSI (and possibly firmware?)

Am I Right with my 1.3 Firmware Testing Steps?

  1. Connect your vci-100 to a computer but dont start traktor.

  2. Click the button that is at the top right hand corner of the left jog wheel - In the Above Shop’s Overlay it would be the Sync / Key Lock Button?

  3. If this button toggles on and off then you have 1.3 - By toggle on/off we mean the light will go on and off?

Thanks for your help - I’ve read so much on these forums and seen on youtube and there has been some major progressions in the VCI 100 mods & firmware over the years so I want to make sure I got my stories straight :smiley:

This is the latest and the newest firmware is 3_5_2 you can get it here.

What is the Latest Overlay (and thus Mapping)?

Thanks! Makes me feel better :slight_smile: Although, I’ve seen an overlay that had “cue 1” through 4 under the buttons underneath each jog wheel, at least I think I’ve seen one. Am I crazy?
