VCI-100SE with Focusrite Scarlett 2i4

Hey guys,

I bought a VCI-100SE from you guys a few years back. I was wondering if you could give me some insight for how I’m trying to setup my rig.

This is what I’m trying to do:
VCI > computer < Focusrite 2i4 > speakers (RCA)
Then, RCA outputs to a set of speakers I own. This is just a temporary setup as I’m trying to figure out if this would be a feasible rig for making mixes or small parties. The reason I went with the Focusrite is to kill two birds with one stone (DJing & Production).

I’ve tried different routing but haven’t had any luck with being able to get deck A playing through the speakers and cueing deck B at the same time.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome and very much appreciated.

Screen shot can help determine if your AI is ether broken o your setting are possibly wrong.

Assuming you’re using RCA outs 1-2… set outputs 1-2 as your main outs in Traktor, then set your cue monitor to outputs 3-4. Then on the front of the 2i4 switch the headphone source to 3-4. That sounds like it should work.
