VCI100 Differences

Guys,

After going round in circles, I think I’m going to get a VCI100.

Whats the differences between…

VCI100

VCI100 SE (apart from they are rarer than hens teeth)

VCI100 MixVibes Edition

Which should I get (or try to)?

VCI100: the standard one from Vestax, firmware 1.1 or 1.2

VCI100SE: Ean Golden Special Edition, firmware 1.3. You can upgrade a standard VCI100 ti VCISE with a firmware kit (see store)

VCI100 MixVibes: As I know, it’s the same as the standard edition, except for the plates, customized for Mixvibes…

So can I use the mixvibe with VDJ ? Its better looking than the standard VCI. Will it take the 1.3 firmware?

Anylink to what the 1.3 offers?

I don’t think you can use firmware 1.3 with VirtualDJ, because it’s Traktor focused… However if you upgrade to 1.3 you can switch to 1.2 by pressing one button at startup. I think 1.2 works with VirtualDJ, but I haven’t tryed yet.
