vinyl Z2
Hi all, trying to record a mix using some of my old school us garage tracks integrated with digital deep house tracks.. But the record function only records the digital, no vinyl tracks have recorded.. Using Scratch Pro … Latest upgrade with the Z2 
As Far as I know, the record function occurs “internally” in traktor. The only way to record actual vinyl playing through the Z2 is if you route the booth out into the Aux in and record it via the Aux IN.
This, or you switch decks to ‘live input’.
When you switch the decks on the Z2 to direct through (–> the button on top) the signal bypasses traktor completely, which means no audio can be recorded internally from traktor. If you use ‘live input’ the signal gets processed in traktor (you can also apply fx, etc.)
