What gear can i add to my DJ setup for creat/play music?
Hi everybody,
i have a Kontrol S2 + traktor for mix. But since few days , i would like add some improvisation in my mix (like some bass i can play, or some synth, ect…)
What gear i need to buy for that? i read a lot on internet (like Ableton live+ midi Keyboard, Maschine, Push, ect…) but now, i dont really know what i need.
What gear/soft i need for work with Traktor and my S2?

You’d have to get creative to sync with the S2 but if I was starting with a blank slate in 2013 I would skip Ableton, push etc. and go for a set of these because they are cheap, modular and sound awesome. - http://www.korg.com/volcaseries
Part of that is the music I like to make which is very synth oriented. If you are on the more sample oriented side maybe remix deck or maschine?

What about getting an F1 and running remix sets off of the remix decks in Traktor? You can find a TON of remix sets for Traktor.
Yeah , it’s a possibility…but how can i play a melody with an instrument?
Can i play synth/bass/piano/drum with the F1?
Can i make a synth lead with the F1?
