What Headphones should I get?

Hi. Im looking to get a new set of headphones after my last set fell apart.

I have looked at Sony V700’s, Stanton Dj3000’s and Sennheiser HD215’s.

My budget is around £80, or $120. I want closed cup cans becasue i prefer the complete shut out from outside noise.

Any ideas or sugestions on other models or makes around that price range?

I use Technics RPDH1200.. really solid, theyve lasted me around 6 years and still look and work as new.

Special edition HD 25s. I have a pair and I LOVE them. Amazing sound plus they look badass.

ahh thanks. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I think ill get the Pioneer DJ1200’s as i found them for £78.99(about $110)

Me too. Don’t use anything else. They’re definitely not the best around but they’re not too shabby either. :wink:

I really like my Sennheiser HD 280’s. They block out a lot of sound, which is important for me. I cue with the volume WAY down…

Yeah, I mean ive heard better sound quality (although these are not bad at all!) but for ruggedness they are spot on.

It’s still the same part which breaks for the Technics RP-DH1200s. Around the swivel joint. That’s good news for me because all I want are the drivers inside. Do email me if anyone has some lying around to let go.

Ive had them about a year and never failed me
some people on the internet mention the joints coming apart but myn seem pretty sturdy and reliable

can pick them up in the uk now for around £65
