Can anyone recommend a cheap sample pack ($10 - $30) from either loopmasters or prime loops? I just want mostly single drum hits and dnb loops. I usually make dubstep and drum and bass. I’m pretty stump by the vast collections, just need help to choose a good one.
beat port forsure, the paks usually have very good descriptions of what you are getting in the pack. i say dont worrie to much about getting the “right” one, just dive in get you hands dirty and grow from there
i like thebeatport pak.
the one from loop masters seems like a good base pak to have for all your percussion, and decently priced
option 3 isnt my style… when i first started buying sample paks i made the mistake of buying to many drum packs and then found that i was lacking other things like leads and bass synths and so on, however it pushed me into having to produce my own so it kinda worked out i guess.
Sounds to sample has some really intriguing packs that would probably work in an F1 quite nicely. I need to think long and hard before i drop $35.00 us on some samples, loops, and one shots. I might however, as my F1 is screaming for some content.
I think this might work well for my deep house and tech house addictions
So I decided to get NoiseFactory Fundamental Dance drums and the drum/percussion loops from Data’s sample pack. I love the NoiseFactory one. The Data Abstract Drum loop pack sounds good, but I felt deceived or disappointed. It said it would contain 106 drum/percussion wav loops for my every dnb uses. But it was just about 30 loops repeated with just minor tweaks like no kick or no percussion. I was an idiot thinking it would be 106 individual DnB drum loops for such a low price. Be careful for future purchases. Even though they are all good loops, it got my hopes up. The Fundamental Dance Drums pack is kick ass. I recommend for the price and the great samples.
