whats the best windows software to create good graphics!!

happy new year tech toolers

i put on a small gig every month and im involved in quite a big one every few months. i have managed to get my hands on a couple of projectors and screens that i would like to beam some funky artwork, flyers etc.. onto them.

my questions is, what is the best( (easy to use) software that can put jpegs, bitmaps etc together with a bit of effects and the like to make it look good.

any feedback would be much appreciated!!

if you are a fanboy of apple; the similar product is Motion, more simple but with some potential.
