What’s the deal with the new NI interface’s

Does anyone know the difference between the audio 1,2,6 and all the new interfaces! i have 2 turntables and i need to plug them to the traktor, they don’t sell the audio 4 dj anymore, so i’ll have to buy one of this new audio X dj :smiley:

the audio 4 is still sold on ebay and it will work with the new traktor. that should work with your setup

What interface are you using currently?

The number is the number of mono inputs and outputs. Other than that, everything is functionally similar.

I think the problem is that he didn’t realize that.

The Audio 2 only changed cosmetically. If you want to connect two turntables you need a minimum of an Audio 4. If you want to sample an external source using the new software when it’s released then you’ll need a minimum of an Audio 6.

All interfaces work with Traktor. NI ones work with Traktor Scratch. Traktor Scratch comes with an NI interface though.

I believe that only with the new interfaces that you can send multiple decks out the same output.

Pretty sure that works with any soundcard, it’s a software feature and nothing to do with hardware.

if you have a link of the ebay item please send it… i tried to buy it on ebay and amazon and they don’t have any available! 4 days ago they where selling it for $185 now they don’t have!

Finding an audio 4 might be hard. I think beatlab in midtown atlanta (http://www.beatlabusa.com/) has one left. They’ll ship it in the US, but I’m not sure about going to costa rica.
