Why No aux/mic available in serato?

Numark NV and Serato 1.7.2

The hardware accepts either an aux and mic input selected by a switch. In Seratos mixer menu under mic\aux it shows this inputs value but it’s grayed out and unable to be manipulated.

I’m trying to run an iPad in to the aux channel. In fact; I’ve tried both channels.
Is this a problem with the software or just me?

I think with that unit to keep costs down the inputs do not correspond to software inputs, hence why DVS is not an available upgrade.

The input is mainly for if your laptop or controller fucks up you can have a backup cued up and ready to go while you get shit back together
