Will M.D's Setup.

Thats some dope gear man!

Nice setup and pics dude! Dang bro, I remember shooting you some messages back on the Torq forum years ago man when I first got in the game! Torq will always have a special place in my heart! You and some other guys on the forums over there were always helping out. I was rocking torq with just an x-session pro and trigger finger for years! Great to see you still on the software man!

  • Your fellow Torq buddy

Yo Dj Havik, the DDM4000 is an Phat piece of kit. Especially once you stick an Innofader in side it. Well worth the money paid. I’ve had mine about 2.5 yrs, its been a solid mixer at home & out on the road :sunglasses:

Cheers the cats always bring some fun into mixing vinyl!

Thanks dude

Cheers

Big ups GI Trackt, nice to see you recognize me from the Torq fam…

I’m still loving Torq.
2.0.3 has really addressed a lot of issues, i’m still finding out stuff it does & rocking the parties.
Recently got into Scratching & this has blown my mind…
Definately takes your game to a new level.

Thanks for the comments guys. More recent pics to come

Peace

A bit of an Update…

So going to Turkey didn’t happen due to finances… So i’ve ended up moving into a top floor, 1 bed flat!
Bit different from a 3 bed detached house, but Its enough size for me & all my gear… Just!

So here’s a couple of pics of the dj gear, production & design beast (still need to get some decent monitors, looking at the M-audio BX5a as i’ve heard good things plus they’re a bargain).

Due to the sunshine coming through the small window that i’ve not yet got a blind for you can just about see the bargain of the Century on my wall! Only 310 hours used Benq Projector… Ok, its not New 2012, but its new to me & for the bargain price of just £40  another 2690ish hrs left to use

2.4ghz Quadcore Q6600, 4gb ram, XP SP3, Ubuntu, 7, Cubase5, Photoshop CS5, Soundforge 8.0, Torq 2.0.3, 3 Monitors including Projector, Logitech 2:1, G5 mouse, Microsoft keyboard, Bamboo Create, MPD24, Axiom 61, Bass Amp (for the Fender Jazz that still needs fixing!), VMX300, Krabi Krabong sticks!

Was Very scary watching the guys throw my bag in the back of a van from the plane… Luckily its still in 1 piece.

You sure seem to move a lot! Are you in some witness protection program?

Nah its just life… It’s always changing & I always have to end up moving… I guess i’m used to it now but it’d be nice to stop in 1 place for a while!

I now suddenly miss my Xponant and want a DDM4000…

Wats the name of the stand you have your xponent on. Will it support 2 cdj 900s?

Its an Odyssey L-Stand

You can get them cheaper.

Comes with Free standing legs & clamps, which you can clamp Vertical or horizontal.

They’re pretty strong. Not sure what the recommended weight capacity is!

I guess you might be able to do something like what I did when I borrowed my mates Denon DNS1000…

Peace

Easy Will D hows things  still using torq ? checked your thread and gona add some input

my boy :slight_smile::sunglasses:

Hey dude  Gotta love a Black Cat.

Yeah still rocking Torq, for the moment!

iirc 5 yrs old now, its still going strong. Recently formatted & reinstalled everything & its still runs like new!
Amazing what some tweaks & a laptop cooling pad will do!

Hope your well dude. You know, Essex isn’t too far away!

Take it your still in the Game… Hope everythings going well.

Peace

Easy Will,

What are the speaker stands made out of in this picture..?

Cheers

Ez OmniRoss,

I can’t remember what exactly the brackets are called, see pic below. Cost less than £15 in total from B&Q! 4 x Brackets & 1 length of pole chopped to desired length. Then Screwed literally into the bottom of the speakers & then the top of my desk. I guess you could put a flat piece of wood on top if you didn’t want to butcher your speakers!

Sorry for the blurry pic!

Peace

Facing the wall is no fun, so had a bit of a re-rig with the setup… :tada:

Peace

Damn Right live in the Mix on www.nsbradio.co.uk NI F1 Style.

Gotta love a bit of masking tape to stop the platter from moving!

Torq & Traktor, Xponent & F1 working together as a force to be reckoned with :scream:

Get the DL of the 4 hour mix.

  • note * This show is Not uploaded to the blog yet, should be sometime this week - Show 140 :sunglasses:

Thought I’d explain where the front ‘Sounds of the Streets’ of the deck stand came from…

I put on an event for Canterbury Festival Fringe in 2011 with the idea being all things Hip Hop!
Unfortunately the Break dancers & Mcs pulled out 2 weeks before the show but either way it went down pretty well.

Had Live turntablists, linked up to Virtual DJ running a live Webcam feed along with ‘Scratch’ being faded over it and cut in out visualy via a projector.

Gear: 4x Technics, TTM57SL, DDM4000 innofader, Serato, VDJ & Xponent (Visuals), Projector! Some LaBtops & Vinyl

Also live grafitti artists and an Mc!

Enjoy

The day I picked it up!

The NIght…

From left>right DJ Race, Doolittle, Buttaphingaz, Mc Soloman.

Haha :tada:

DJ Readybreak
