Hey guys, well I thought I would make this thread out of curiousity. If you could have any kind of Dj setup no limit in how much $$$ what would you want? For me I dont think you need a huge expensive setup to be “set” just the good old regular stuff, but going large. Well I would want:
Macbook Pro 15"
2 X Pioneer CDJ 2000’s
Pioneer DJM 800
NI Maschine
NI Kontrol X1
Sennheiser Hd 25 ii
= SET!!
Total $$$ = $7860.00 :eek:

Your dream headphones would be the HDJ-1000’s? I’ve got a pair and they are extremely uncomfortable on the ears after too long. I’d definitely want some better headphones if money wasn’t an issue but sadly I made an uninformed first decision on headphones

the only thing I would do with unlimited $ is say “fuck you” to the outside world and lock myself in the homestudio for a year. the only thing missing in my setup is time to actually use it all

… and I think with that, I’d have more than enough to enjoy myself on. Honestly I could live with 3 tables in my dream setup, but I like the potential of having 4 setup so I could mix with a mate.
So far? My wife’s getting me the headphones for Christmas. And I plan on getting a laptop within the next year or so (but I honestly plan on getting a 15"). I’m debating between tables and SSL vs the S4 at the moment, though I know eventually down the line I’d really like a set of tables. Don’t know if they will be the M5G’s though (probably not, but who knows). And a Rane 68? This was a dream right?

I’m not sure if I would take the Serato over Traktor but each to their own. Serato does look good though, but I prefer the funtionality of Traktor. Nice dream setup though!
