Will this mac run Traktor?

I don’t currently have a Laptop for DJing, I have to lug my PC around, and I’ve been offered a pretty good deal on an old Macbook my mate has.

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83ghz
2GB RAM

Will this run traktor to a decent enough standard? I don’t push it very hard, 2 track decks, keylock on about 50% of the time. I’m fine with latency up to 20ms.

Minimum specs for mac are Dual core and 2Gb of ram, and this meets it, but not sure how stable it will be.

I wouldn’t normally go this low but I’m pretty skint and he’s willing to give me it for nearly nothing.

Yes but would recommend you upgrade the ram ($50 appx)…its nice not needing to worry about running out if you have more applications open.

I can’t imagine it running badly with those specs. A friend of mine used to run Traktor Duo on a netbook just fine. So I don’t see a reason why it shouldn’t run on a MacBook with a C2D :wink:

Cool, nice to hear. If it doesn’t run what I need he’s willing to give me my money back, but sounds good.
