Xone 42 vs Denon DN-X1100 effects routing

Hi guys,

can anyone who used both tell me which one has better fx section? Does Xone 42 have post-fader effects option as Denon have or not ?

Which one has more versatile routing in general ? Im thinking of adding fx section to my setup, but I might be adding software fx as well if not hardware one, so that’s also to consider.

What’s your opinion about this ?

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the 42 is a send/return type post fader effect.

I’ve never played with an X1100, but the FX routing looks slightly more flexible.
Then again, the Xone series are second to none in sound quality.

The 42 is at the very least, second to the 92, based on the specs of both mixers.

Build and sound quality wise ? Cause features differ massively.

Sound quality wise, if I may be so bold.

xone 42 sounds great, and is solid as a tank.

yes the EFX are post fader, so if you start looping on your EFX unit and pull down the fader you’ll still hear the loop untill you turn the knob back to dry.

It takes some getting used to, but i like it better.
