Xone K2 distorts the sound!!!

Hi There,

Finally got my K2 yesterday.. need to start using it with traktor version 2.6.8 - osx mavericks 10.9.3, also and with ableton live 9

got a problem with the sound it distorts a lot, need to put the master volume -10 to -12db to listen it in a good way..
It is very noticeable!

Any help or suggestions pls?

Change latency in audio driver?

use another USB slot?
does it need more power?

I have already tried to change the latency and change USB slot and to another mac, PC, and powered USB hub and nit hung at all… Have another idea?

have you got the latest drivers/ firmware?

Do you mean distorted/loud (gain) or audio or glitches/pops (latency settings)? The soundcard in the K2 is not very good, apparently. Check your output routings also, your master out should be 1/2 (rear RCAs) and your monitor out should be 3/4 (headphones)

Yes it seems more like glitches from latency! I have tried to change the latency but nothing. I have the latest firmware and I run Mac OS 10.9.x. When I play staccato sounds is more noticeable it trims the tail of sound. I checked also with ableton and like first output soundcard for mac and the same issue goes on.

I have the exact same problem with my brand new K2 and with traktor 2.6.8 on a similar MBP 2.9Ghz 8GB running OSX 10.9.4.

Was anyone able to solve this?? PLEASEE, HELP
