Z2 or Xone:42
I’m in debate with myself as to which mixer I should get, I’m planing on treating myself thinking if I should go all digital or reap the benefits of both CD and digital. Whats everyone’s take? A&H Xone:42 or NI Z2.

You can also look upon the Numark M6. I have seen it at work and to tell you honestly, it is good. You must try it at first and then decide.
Personally I would go for the A&H, the eq, filter, etc make it worth the purcahse.
Obviously if you plan on using traktor etc you would need the soundcard too if you went for the A&H.
Depends on what you want really.
Not a fair comparison by any means. 42 all the way.
Apples and oranges.
Go 92 instead of 42. Hopefully this guy will ship and all this thing needs is cleaning of some of the line faders?
Some people get all loopy when you present them with a 4 band EQ
I know it’s not in the same league, I was thinking though since I play on pretty much all 3 forms (vinyl, CD, digital) it would be nice or interesting what I could do with a native mixer for the times I play digital but then again knowing the 42 is superior (having used it in many clubs here in the EU) I’m pretty stuck. But I probably will just go with the 42 and cop a couple of controllers
Buy me a 42 while you’re at it homie, I would kill for one
Controllerists like loops.
Actually, that would screw me up pretty good, and I don’t really need help in that regard.
Kwal is correct!
HA! First time I played on an A&H…i was a tad confused to say the least.
First time I had used a 4 band EQ.
I had to go home and GOOGLE how to use it correctly when DJing.
HAHAHAHA…the old days!
At one of the bigger venues here in Chicago, my buddy likes to occasionally toss the 92 out instead of the 900nsx when he does locals only shows and we watch the kids scratch their heads in confusion and just laugh
He guys what about the Numark..?
These two mixers are far superior to any Numark
Yeah as owner of an Xone:42 I can tell you that it’s an awesome mixer! Best sound I’ve ever had!
I’m also thinking about the 92, is it worth it?
If you can spare the extra money then yes
Numark is also pretty good, i have seen it work at my friends place. I think you should at least try it once.
Not really a fan of Numark, their audio and workflow designs isn’t up to par
