‘Zip-up’ effect
Ok, so this is going to sound weird but I’m trying to get a certain sort of effect in Traktor. The only way I can think of to describe it is like a ‘zip-up’ sort of noise, or a sort of vwoooop, rising in pitch. If anyone knows what I mean and has any idea how I might be able to do this sort of thing, that’d be great.
put on reverb in advanced mode in effect channel 1, turn all the knobs to the right, except for the master wet/dry. (leave it at 50/50) Then, with the effect turned on, slowly turn the 3rd knob back to 50/50 and you should get that zip up sound
Sounds like a high pass sweep with lots of resonance to me!

That’s the noise I mean, but I’d prefer it to have a bit of a harder sound, more like a bouncer effect (but I don’t want it to end in a buzz, I sort of want it to cut out… like the noise your sunroof makes when it closes).
