As a I mentioned earlier and a few others have noticed too, there is a bit of a hike in cpu usage. this is making me think, as I was planning on getting an F1 after xmas, does adding in an F1 and using the remix decks give a large Hike in cpu?

I'm running a windows i3 with 4gb ram and use a power script to shut off some stuff, currently runs 8.8 ms latency.
I've been using 2.1.3 and ran 2.5 briefly and thought it didnt seem to use any more cpu but 2.6 defo does and now i'm wondering if i'll have trouble running an F1 aswell?

What do u guys think? have u noticed a lot more cpu usage from an F1 ans remix decks?

I had an i3 when 2.5.0 came out and there was a definite issue with the CPU usage on my machine. I moved to an MBP i7 Quad Core shortly thereafter and geez what a huge difference. Day and night.

Skooppa - the revolution is beginning!

You want the best FX jogs on the S4? Then try this mapping!

if only funds would allow!! Thats a fairly big jump tho, i3 to quad core i7! had no issues with 2.1.3 even using keylock and effects etc. I didnt do much with 2.5 since i didnt have a F1 for the remix decks i just stayed using 2.1.3.

I'm jst wondering if my i3 is gonna struggle with the rmx decks and a F1, if so i maybe be better off waiting and putting the £195 towards upgrading my laptop. Cant afford a mac, but for affordable money can get a well powered windows lap, but dont want the thread to decline into the mac v pc debate.

I also found this. The only work around that i can think of that will actually mean you can scratch naturally, is mapping the flux on/off to a foot controller.

Anyone else have a solution for flux scratching with timecode vinyl?
