Ableton Live 8 -25 % + Update for Live 9: Question about Max4Live

Hello

I decide to buy ableton live suite but there is something I don’t understand correctly, there is actually 25% off on Ableton Live 8 Suite with Live 9 Suite Update;

But will this package includes Max4Life too ?
Is there any differences between buying Ableton Live 8 Suite with Live 9 Update and waiting for Live 9 to come ?

but yeah I see what you mean, something’s not clear over there. Did you tried to log into your account and add the upgrade to the shopping cart?

EDIT: ok, the other price I didn’t understand (need some sleep I guess) will be after march 4th) So yeah, the comparison chart is still valid. Quite a bargain if you ask.

If BitWig wasn’t 'round I would get it too.

I call my Controller Dealer and he say that there was no differences between Ableton Live Suite 8 + Updates and Live 9 Suite. So I think i’ll order it. Thanks for you answers i’ll speak with Ableton support to be sure of this.

You will receive Max for live with your free update to Suite 9. M4L is part of Suite 9.

Apparently there is some difference between buying live 8 + 9update and live 9 the 5.

Pretty simple: If you buy now you are getting Suite 8, and later suite 9.

Suite 8 and suite 9 are diffferent, 9 includes m4l and more libraries.

What I dont know is that what happens to you Suite 8 license? You kkeep it? or it is upgraded to a suite 9 license? i suspect the later.

I suspect you might be able to keep Suite 8 installed if you already authorized it, along Suite 9, but once you uninstall that SUite 8 it might be impossible to get it autohhorized again since now you will have only a Suite 9 license.

You get more stuff, including absolutely everything you would get if you buy Suite 9 on March 5th, which includes Max for Live, if you buy now.

Well it means Live suite 8 doesnt come with such, so while you only have suite 8 (till march 9) you wont have those new libraries which are exclusive to Suite 9. When the version 9 is released you will be able to download all that stuff: 25 gb, 55 installed.
