Ableton suite questions!

Ok first question is, if i purchase ableton suite off another person and they transfer over their license to me,

that still allows me to use it on two computers correct?

second, if i purchase ableton live suite 8, does that mean whenever ableton live suite 9 comes out, i will have to repurchase it?
or can i just upgrade?

and third, if i buy the educational version, what is the difference besides the price and the license transfer? anything within the program itself different? updates? details? anything?

Educational is the same you just can’t transfer licence

And when live 9 comes out you can just up grade at a fraction of the cost

You’d have to ask Ableton but to guess wildly I’d say it has something to do with money.
Current upgrade prices are listen on the Ableton website.
