And so it BEGINS!!!

And so it BEGINS!!!

i have destroyed my first pair of headphones for the year

are there any pair of headphones that are indestructable lol. i guess the cold weather froze the plastic (-30) and it simply cracked under pressure. hopefully i can get the band fix.

what is your turn over rate for headphones… how long do they last you

what kind were they??

and yes the Pioneer HDJ 2000’s yeah they’re expensive but worth it.

shure srh440a… perviously pioneer hdj 500’s lol they get worn up to 16 hours daily.

Agreed

Funny enough, I leave my old headphones that go around the back of your head for the gym in the car every night. Those champs still work perfectly, old cruddy things never die!
On a side note, when is this awful Ontario cold spell gonna end?

eh. the plastic on the headband is pretty flimsy. broke on me late last year after minor use.

lol maybe i can sew the ontario government because such cold weather caused this problem haha…

I have actually gotten used to the fact that i have to replace my cans every 6 months, no matter how much i hate doing so

V Moda LP, cheap and they are built very well. Not to mention they sound great.

I haven’t had mine very long and I take good care of them, but I know of others here that have had theirs forever and claim they’re bombproof: Sony MDR-7506’s

I have a pair of those too, and oh many how lovely they sound. Also do not break the bank either.

Oh, you want indestructible?

I can personally attest, as I wrote that review!

looking at a pair of hdj1000’s-1500’s, but it looks like its a clean break, so i may be able to repair them  save some cash

15 years old and sound sweeter then the day I bought them - don’t look quite as well but function just fine and not breaks anywhere.

and so i call upon the powers of DUCT TAPE.

I used to go through a pair every 6-12 months. Then I got HD25s, haven’t need a new set in years.

You want a headphone thats built like a tank!?

ATH Pro700mk2

so i have settled on a pair of audio technica m35’s for now and the local shop said they will send my shures out for free repair 0_0

I had these and they lasted me two weeks, the cable going into the cans mucked up on me but I really liked them although I did not buy another pair.

I have a 2 year old at home who wears my KRK 8400’s daily and throws them, pulls them apart and they have not taken any damage, I suggest those head phones for sure but if you are clubbing frequently you will find they don’t go loud enough for that.

& KRKS have replacement parts

i Produce, DJ and work with other artists. so they get used everyday
