:eek: Yeah, I hate doing all that sub genre stuff, but Im looking to compare dj sets or playlist with other dj tech tools dj that spin indie music. What do I mean by Indie, well bands like The Editors, The Killers, Modest Mouse, She Wants Revenge, Interpol and so on. I have some jems that are not played, remixes that are by known producers that get no play. So if anyone is cool with trading some info lets do it!

I listen to a lot of indie but I usually spin more electro kinda stuff. I do have some good indie/rock/electro songs I spin often. I can create a short playlist and post it soon.
I play these songs once in a blue moon, when the crowd is right. Plus when I play it every dj in the house ask me, “WHO IS THIS!?” Hope you guys like these track.

Great thread youve started here. Im an Indie/Electro DJ (amongst other music) in U.K
I play a lot Indie and a lot of Indie remixes. Do you often find that people moan if you play a remix of a massive tune? Depends on the crowd obviously but i play some pretty big Indie nites where the crowd are 70% IndieKids 30% ElectroKids so its a matter of balance usually.
Indie is always big in UK but at the moment its absolutely everywhere. Even the awful tacky High Street clubs are hammering Kings Of Leon etc at the moment.
I DJ at a venue that has Live Bands on my nite so ive been lucky to DJ with Klaxons, Hot Chip, We Are Scientists, Men Women and Children, Mystery Jets, Mani(Stone Roses), Embrace, Happy Mondays list goes on and on.
Ill have a look thru my playlists and post some track names up and join in your thread. Ive seen some great stuff in other peoples posts.

This weekend Im going to have time to work on a new playlist. Im also working on editing some tracks, I have several crystal castles re-remixes in the works being that there intros suck for mixing!
