back on vinyl tonight...

back on vinyl tonight…

arrived at my friday residency tonight and saw the thursday night dj had left a pair of 1210’s in the dj box, so i used them with TSP2…

most fun ive had djing for ages, forgot how cool it was and it was just like riding a bike…it all came back

Vinyl kicks ass. It’s so much fun.

See you’re from the north man, where are your residencies? might come down and see you! also, SAME LAST NAME WOO.

I went to me m8s last week, all my old vinyl are there. We threw the 1210s on and had a blast of a mix reminiscing on messy nights gone by.

Gotta love vinyl.

back on vinyl tonight…

I’ve just bought my 1st set of turntables and I’m hooked already,
The S4 has been demoted to purely just a mixer at present haha… But it’s good as can use the loops and fx etc aswell and works well altogether with the vinyl

cool story bro.
all jokes aside, i think instead of selling my 92 and audio8 to pay for a db4, i’m going to pick up a pair of stanton str8 150 when I return stateside in late june. I really miss that tug on my middle finger.

no relation?haha i dj in cafe ceol in bangor on a friday, not really musically my taste…all commercial bollocks, but its usually good craic and only 5 mins from my house

Borrowed decks last summer to practice with my bag of vinyl and it went all downhill from there
I’ve had so much more fun mixing since switching to TSP with timecode after that, while keeping the loops, fx and synced 3rd/4th decks.
It’s all in the tactile feeling really. I don’t think I’d get that with CDJs.

You’re all forgetting the most important thing. Vinyl looks cooler.

Yup. So again, let’s all not forget that timecode vinyl + Serato gets you the hoes.

^ amen to that
