Best Midi Controller to Control Macro’s and Parameters in Ableton

Yo dudes.

Can any of you Ableton Dj’s (or digital dj’s) recommend me a cool little controller I could use to control my macro’s, EQ’s and effects racks I have set up in Ableton?

I’m thinkin of something like the X1…but maybe something with more knobs…

Well, if looks are that important to you… It sure gets the job done.

In order of decreasing knobs:

I really really want a vestex vcm 600 but they seem to be rare or expensive.

Maybe a Novation Remote if you don’t have the cash for a VCM600.

I thought about the Remote…but it doesnt have enough knobs.

Not feelin the VCM either…purely because of how its laid out; I like to believe that a Midi controller is what you make of it…so having a pre defined layout seems a bit counter productive, you know what I mean?

I have a VCM 600 that I will part with for a deal! Or trade for turntables. Its a sweet controller I just don’t find myself using it right now. Pm me if interested in making a deal
