I think you mean:
sneaky bastard
Heh heh.
I almost feel guilty for unleashing that on this forum, but…uhh……meh.
In all honestly, all I’ve used it for was to bury a “5char” in a post that only had an image on boards that don’t count that as hitting the character count.
+1
Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
BRILLIANT!!!
OKay…time to switch to a different skin.
Padi wins DJTT.
Im hoping i get a chance to beta it I know i could really use some of the features for my sets.
really hope this isn’t vaporware. they say a few days and then nothing… if it is not ready yet they should just say so.
is there a forum up yet? with beta testers?
Hopefully we get a beta tester here on DJTT ![]()
Is it “against the rules” for a beta tester to talk about the software?
We don’t know yet, have to wait for someone to get into the beta to find out ![]()
Am I the only paranoid highlighting everyone’s messages?
no i started doing it in this thread also.. lol, what has this place come to?!?! ![]()
I though I was the only one. ![]()
How’s this coming along?
Nothing. Invites would “go out in a few days” on June 21st. Seems they come out to announce beta is happening really soon every couple months then disappear.
They even gave ableton enought time to release a x64 beta ![]()
it’s pretty funny how much of a ripoff this is of Ableton Live really…
Personally I think it’s pretty funny that ableton really hasn’t done much of anything since live 8 in three years since these developers left ableton and built a new and improved DAW from scratch.
It’s not so much a rip off when the people behind bitwig are responsible for ableton as we know it. I see it more as they got frustrated with the company so they left and built the DAW that they really wanted to. Bitwig is really just the next evolution of live and unless something major changes over there I don’t really see ableton moving forward since they lost their key developers. Ok ableton is just now adding 64 bit support but still, these guys made an entire new daw from scratch that does way more in the past three years and I’m not expecting ableton to go much further anytime soon.
Personally I think its an insult by Ableton to completely ignore their user base, and not to address basic features such as a decent browser and proper midi mapping.
WTF is the idea behind giving you a crossfader and no proper way to select tracks on the fly :roll eyes:
I can only guess that we’ll either have a HUGE update in Live 9 come mid 2013 or they are completely fucked without the dev crew that left and we’ll all be moving to Bigwig / The One or something else.
That kinda scares me a little with regards to stability/bug testing.
Agrred - the browser SUCKS for DJ’ing. When will they add support for mp3 tags???
Agreed - it’s like they stuck in a crossfader at V1, and thought “that’ll keep the DJ’s happy - no need to add proper DJ functionality…”
My God I hope so…
I fear you may have hit the nail directly on there head there, mate.
OR - the old Ableton dev crew are gonna take Bitwig in the direction that Live was always headed (an awesome, awesome, dedicated DAW), and the remaining Abe’s change Live into the Serato/Traktor beating live performance tool that it should be*!!! ![]()
*The clue is in the name (Live!!!)
How long do you think it should take to build a DAW? It seems reasonable for a highly experienced team working full time.
Besides, the bug/stability bit comes from Beta testing which hasn’t even started yet.
