Classic Dance Songs

Classic Dance Songs

Djing a mates 18th for his birthday, I’m used to doing 18ths as me and my friend do quite a few, but m friend has requested classic dance songs from the 90’s and any songs from around then that we should all know.

Ive got a good start with songs like DJ Sammy - Heaven etc but

A) can you all help me out with a few more?!

B) any other songs that you think are suitable, like good sing-songy/dancey or anything suitable for an 18th from that era!

Thanks!

anyone!?

I remember all underground bangers that were huge in the 90’s, but none of the commercial pop like DJ Sammy.

Just list what you can, im not too good with all the older stuff hence why im asking. i was under 10 years old in the 90’s!
Im not saying i dont know any, i just need my mind ‘rejogging’ on what was good! just anything that will get a good crowd of 18 year olds going.

bucketheads-the bomb

dj jean-the launch

Ah all the memories coming back, im a '92 kid :disappointed: what about atb 9pm ?
Just buy a 90-2000 trance album and leave that on all night

Did he say if he was opposed to mash-ups or what not? Good to get people’s excitement level up if popular songs are used.

Find remixes of popular songs from the 90’s. I wouldn’t limit yourself to only “dance songs.” What about songs that have been re-made dancey!

now more commonly known as tiesto - flight 643, but if you can get the baleric bill one, excellent! my fav trance song of all time!

I was alive, well and partying my ass off during the 90s but man that Heaven song is uhh…

So here are some songs that I can remember along that similar vein that aren’t so bad I think heh.

D:Ream - You’re the best thing

Opus III - It’s a fine day

Boris Dlugosch presents Boom - Keep Pushin’

1990-2002

Love it:smiley:

Full length version is better but couldn’t find it:

Ultimate party rocker:

Near the end i just kinda spitballed 18th tunes

This is perfect guys thanks! good start for me to get some more.

Now is there any other songs such as sum 41, blink 182 that will get the party going, i know he suggested a few of them!

thank you very much

Blur - Song 2

And of course let us know how you get on:stuck_out_tongue:

*I have based all my selections on a top40/ charty/ poppy/ Floor Fillers kind of crowd. Who wouldnt be dancing to anything out of centre i.e house, techno, dubstep id also throw in some old school hip hop to be different (Snoop, Dr Dre, Tu Pac, biggie ect)
