Cracked Traktor Scratch Pro 2.6.3 or higher on Mac!

Cracked Traktor Scratch Pro 2.6.3 or higher on Mac!

(First time ever on a forum, so excuse if i sound like a spoon.)

I just got the new Traktor X1 MK2 only to realise that it dosen’t work with any form of Traktor earlier than 2.6.3. I have tried everything here, putting it into MIDI mode (which dosen’t work!) and rebooting my whole Traktor system. Paying £170 for your gear and not getting the software to run it is not on? Sort it out NI.

I’ve also read that the only way to update to TSP2 is by buying the full upgrade kit? What is that about? I just spent £200 on a soundcard and control vinyl for you to tell me that i have to buy it again just to update the software? You are having a laugh.

Hope someone on here could please help me out with a cracked version of TSP2 2.6.3 or higher for mac. Really have lost all faith in Native Instruments after this escapade. They didn’t even answer their phones on the customer service line or reply to any of my 3 e-mails. They will not be getting another penny from me.

Really hope someone could help me out here. Pulling my hair out trying to figure out what i can do :disappointed: :disappointed:!

Thanks so much to anyone that can help!!

Welcome.

I think we need to iron a few things out here.

Which version of Traktor do you have ? Why don’t you update it to a version that is X1MK2 compatible? Updates are free via Service Centre if you are using any version of Traktor Pro 2 unless… you are already using a cracked version (this is not an accusation).

You say you have just bought a soundcard and timecode. Why? Don’t you already have TSP..? In which case you should already own an NI soundcard or certified mixer. If you just bought the soundcard and timecode hoping to get a cracked TSP then you deserve all the bad luck you are having (again, no accusation).

If you only own Traktor Pro not Scratch Pro and thought that the soundcard and timecode would enable scratch functionality then you must not have read the product pages.

If you own Traktor Pro not Traktor SCRATCH Pro then yes, you do have to buy the Upgrade Kit. You don’t get stuff for free.
Just cus you buy a car doesn’t entitle you to free alloys and a sunroof.

Now, onto the subject of asking for a cracked version. With respect to your first sentence, yes you sound like a spoon. This forum and probably most other DJ forums worth a damn does not condone requesting cracked software and this generally gets the user banned but I am interested in your response so I won’t ban you (depending on your response).

I’d also be interested in what you have asked NI Support on this matter. I can only imagine that you have a legitimate version of Traktor because you genuinely would be a “spoon” if you contacted support when you are using a crack because all they need to do (in fact I can do it) is check your email address for any registered products and if you don’t have any registered products then it’s right that they don’t reply.

Now, to reiterate.
I HAVE NOT accused you of using a cracked version of Traktor.
I will permanently ban you from this forum if you ask for a crack again.

I’m here to help but you need to front up with some information about what you own first.

Traktor controllers come with a Traktor license. Just put your serial into the service center and update. Don’t ask for cracks on here…

They don’t come with Traktor SCRATCH Pro though (the OP mentions TSP) but the X1M2 comes with a 50 euro voucher that can be redeemed against the Timecode Kit making it around 30 Euros.

OP, you could have purchased the Audio 6 interface, which comes with Traktor Scratch Pro and the control vinyl. Which sound card did you buy?

How has this not been shut down? OP no talk of cracked software, and definitely no asking for it.

Dripstep for a mod

Because I am giving the guy a chance to explain himself as it is unclear if he actually owns a legit version and if he does own a legit version I can help him upgrade and teach him a valuable lesson…a lesson that might make him think more carefully in future and realise that it is not necessary to go down the crack route.

He gets one chance to prove himself… If he fails you will get your blood. If he comes back with a reasonable reply there will have been some good done on this forum.

There’s more to being a Mod than banhammering people.

If you own Traktor Pro 2, you are of course eligible for a free upgrade to version 2.6.6.

If you bought a new Traktor Scratch sound card/control vinyl bundle from an approved retailer, it will have included the full TSP2 software.

If you bought incomplete second hand equipment that doesn’t include software, that’s your own fault. Your X1 Mk2 comes with a voucher so you don’t even have to pay the full price for what is a very cheap software bundle.

I’m not looking for a ban, just to educate the new guys. No harm here, OP, you’re in good hands with Karlos.

No sweat man. If he had just asked for a crack I’d have shut him down in a heartbeat, I think my opinion on cracks and hacks is pretty well documented on here, but he has provided conflicting information which leads me to believe that we can point him in the right direction. Whether he likes the what hears is another matter

Clearing up…

I bought a second hand soundcard. I know, stupid me. Sorry guys.

Only asking for cracks as i am so annoyed at NI. No need for the harshness. First time on the forum so props to Karlos on helping me. Bit sceptical using these again, didn’t know people were so rude…

Lets start again… tell us what set up you have and what version of Traktor you are currently using? How do you want the X1 to fit into your set up? Im pretty sure that there is a very simple solution to your issue but we need more precise details. This is a friendly place but sounding off about how annoyed you are with NI without giving full details rubs people up the wrong way.

Setup

Ok, I recently got two Technics 1210’s as well as a DJM600. The X1 Mk2 will be using to control my effects as well as loops cue points etc. I am using an A6 sound card also. My old setup was my Traktor S2 into my mac. I own Traktor Pro 2 so i imagined it would only be a matter of entering my serial number into Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and this would all work fine. To my dismay, it did not.

Hope that clears things up. Still not impressed by NI at this moment in time…

Cheers

Ok, now we have got somewhere.

Firstly, you have Traktor Pro 2. This means you can update to the latest version for free and the X1MK2 will work.

The S2 is not a Certified device for timecode use as the S4 is so it does not come with the Traktor Scratch Pro and it has no inputs which is why you have bought the Audio 6, yes?

The Serial number with the A6 is a hardware serial number. It does not change the software.

To go from TP2 to TSP2 you need to purchase the Timecode upgrade kit for Certified product owners.
http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/traktor/dj-controllers/traktor-kontrol-s4/software-timecode-kit/pricing/

It costs £89. The cost is essentially to unlock the timecode plugin (as we used to say), you are paying for the extra feature plus the included timecode. The software is not the important bit, its the serial number that you get with the Kit that matters.
If you buy the kit and enter the new Serial number it will turn your existing TP2 into TSP2 and release the timecode feature.

NI Support not answering your emails is poor if they indeed have not answered them for a prolonged period of time.
If you need help with NI support then find me on the NI forum and I can help you with that but… the inescapable truth is you WILL have to buy the upgrade kit.

Did you get the 50 euro voucher with your X1 ? If not and you bought it recently you may still qualify for it but you will have to contact NI Sales Support for that.

mmm, not NI’s fault.

When you bought the Audio 6 and the Timecodes, you should have asked for the Serial to upgrade to Scratch.

Know your software or ask on here.

Hard Lines dude…

Is there no way for you to contact the seller again?

People aren’t being rude dude. Asking for cracks for software is rude and usually isn’t tolerated on a lot of forums.

Anyways, I’m sorry you’ve run into the issue you’ve run into. As someone mentioned, I’d try re-contacting the seller for the Scratch serial number.

And NI did nothing to put you in this situation man. Again, not to be rude, but if you’d done the research before all of this, you’d have realized you’d be in this situation.

Oh, there’s some rude going on. If you don’t think so, may I suggest you ask someone with manners to read the thread for you and point it out. (See, there’s some right there.)

As far as “doing the research,” this ‘everyone can be a DJ all you need is our kit’ mentality that NI propagates sure doesn’t help. NI isn’t exactly the most forthcoming… it’s actually rather convoluted. Especially when it comes to timecode, licensing and support. If you understand it, it’s because you have spent MANY hours searching and fixing, etc. Traktor can be daunting and/or overwhelming. I know guys who have no idea what most things in the preferences menu control.

From the OP, it was clear he had a license from post #1. “I just got the new… MK2..” You see the word crack - I see that the man needs a legit workaround, and is new to forum-style decorum.

How can you use software and NOT know what it does?

I mean, do you drive a car and know what all the levers and knobs do?
SURE!

No one is saying he needs to know the guts if the controller…like many don’t know what’s happening with car engines, yet still use em.

If you don’t have any interest in what the software can do and is capable of, maybe just use CD’s huh?

Why pay the money for something and not use it properly?

Sorry, I don’t get your argument man.

So you jumped right in and knew absolutely everything about it and asked no one for help, eh? You must be one of those geniuses I keep hearing about.
