I have the original. It’s a well engineered machine unlike every other flimsy stand I have used and owned.
Pretty sure the pro just adds a small interface tray that got designed after and slides in, not sure how I feel about that since it doesn’t seem as sturdy as the main stand and they opted to add that piece instead of redesign the whole stand.
I’ve had one for about a year now. Don’t leave home without it (also, everyone keeps wanting to borrow it). The sub-tray slides in and pretty much stays wherever you want it to.
Is the pro one the adjustable one? Go for the adjustable one. I have a crane stand but it only goes in one position. It’s definitely nicer to have the flexibility of adjustable angles.

Thanks everyone! I’m going to spring for the pro version. I like the fact it just has the single bar on the bottom so it will fit under the mixer just right.
Just bought a pro model off ebay this weekend. Should be here tuesday afternoon, i’ll post some pics if you have questions.
Crane pro came in the mail today. It is well built & very nice. Well worth the $$$$ Picked it up new on ebay for 122 bucks shipped.
The top shelf & the base both rotate & you can adjust the soundcard shelf anywhere you want. Really happy. 
Late to the party. I own one and LOVE it. I bought mine over a year ago so I had to buy the extra tray afterwards. Love both of them. Solid product, solid company.
Yeah, the Crane Pro stand is a badboy. Gets you out of so may sticky situations in clubs/bars and is so much better to have the lappy at that height.
I like my Crane Stand Pro, i just think $150 is waaay too much. 99$ seems like a perfect price.
Agreed, it’s too expensive for what it is - but it is a great product. I actually never planned on buying one, found the price ridiculously high, but then all of a sudden I just went all impulsive and bought one. Not regretted it since!
It’s a bit like a mbp… You know it’s expensive buts its a lovely bit of kit that works as it should 
been eyeing for a crane stand too…but i’ll choose the standard one.
i see it can hold a cdj in an upright position, definitely need something like this since i’m running out of space on my console table…what do you think putting something that is heavy or large on top? would it topple backwards in case rough pusing of the cdj buttons? is it recommended to even do this?
Well, I own the standard one and I can say I’m really glad I got it, the angle is great and I don’t feel I’m missing the pro’s features. Worth it.

Yeah the pro prices are insane & unnecessary, i just need a sturdy stand to hold a cdj in upright almost 90deg position, it’s quite tall about 30-40 clearance from the base, more room to do things underneath (no worries of knocking thing on top while mixing with turntables below)

I have the Crane Standard and I think its fine for my needs. The angle is already quite optimized. I find it a bit bouncy though but it sure gives you a lot of room underneath.
bouncy like what? worries me a bit though since older cdjs are heavier than the new ones…although it’s more compact
