DDJ-SZ2 Coming out or Dropped?
Anyone know if Pioneer will make a DDJ-SZ2 or not? It seems like with the advent of Rekordbox DJ, they’re dropping Serato support and moving everything to Rekordbox.
They did. It’s called DDJ-RZ 
If they release a successor it will probably be a 4 deck version of XDJ-RX. Or not.
They are moving away from third party softwares.
$3,000…geeze.
Hah… and they just released the DDJ-RZX today.
$3000 honestly isn’t that bad considering it’s essentially two CDJs and a DJM. If I were a mobile DJ, I’d definitely consider getting one. That said… definitely outside my price range.
The FX units look impressive though with the iPad style control.
Hopefully this drops the price of the DDJ-SZ a couple hundred.
Shame it’s not actually a stand alone controller. I guess it is cheaper than 4 XDJ1000s and a DJM900, but still, $3000 is quite the price point for a controller.
You and I both know it’s more like 25 at the shops when everything is said and done. It seems to me like an awesome bet for people who want the NXS2 benefits but don’t have double the price.
It comes with the three touch screens and even completely disregarding all the VJ stuff, gives you so much live controllability with the displays people want so dearly- plus it’s got a solid sound card in it. Started playing around with rekordbox on the SR and I have to say I really like this
