DJ business cards

I gotta get some made. I’ve been asked about 100 times and look like a moron without one. I have an idea of what I’m going to make but wanted to see what creative things people are doing on their card on DJTT. So post pics of what you got. I’ll post pics of mine one I finish designing it.

also, there was one (i forget whos) thats all black, has a white outline of a house, a 40 with an up arrow, and something else

i thought that was clever.

I ended up just keeping it basic anyways.

Cba to scan ours! But we had a modified logo on one side and then the other all out details (contact / mixcloud / soundcloud etc) and also a QR code to our latest mix as a small thumbnail image.

Works a treat and paying the extra $ is worth it to improve the quality of the print :slight_smile:

GB… IMO you should definitely stretch the font and get rid of some of the dead space. I know you’re trying to keep it simple, but when you give someone that card you want to make sure they LOOK at it. Maybe throw in some color on the text. Included your soundcloud and other info. If its a double sided card a lot of that contact info can be done there and largely.

That card is the representation of your first/last impression.

Thanks for the thought. I’ll keep that in mind. I personally hate when cards are too cluttered with a ton of info. My real job business card is like that and it is annoying to look at. When i hand out a card I tell them stuff too, like just find me on FB, etc. I never hand out cards without actually talking to the person and getting to know them a little. That way they really want to add me on FB, or soundcloud whatever. I was considering stretching it, but i wanted them to focus on one side then the other. I’ll try a couple redesigns with that in mind. More or less is always the question!
