DJ Max D’s Setup.

Mkay, here goes:

my first setup, a glorified mix between a pocket calculator and a toaster, mistakenly called “laptop”, borrowed Technics headphoes, Hercules Mp3e2 controller and a 5$ USB sound card:

a little while after that I got some money after quitting my band and bought a new Lenovo laptop, Numark Total Control, Audio2DJ, Akai LPD8 and Sennheiser HD205:

a very short time after the previous pic, I replaced the TC with the Mixtrack Pro:

during the Mixtrack period I got into advanced MIDI mapping of my beloved Traktor Pro and it got me really interested.. soon after I sold my LPD8, headphones and Mixtrack because a BIG job was coming up and I was planning to get Ultrasone DJ1 pro and an X1, along with a VCI-100.. the job got #@(^ed up and I ended up with significant monetary losses.. barely made it to buy my next setup: VCI-100, Numark Red Wave cans (and the old A2DJ):

(yes, I finally moved the sub to under my desk)

now I am in the process of modding the VCI: got the firmware to 1.4, painted some stuff etc.. custom overlays, logo sticker and a few more things I’m gonna do soon but this is the current look:

My “work” environment: N4, Lappy, cans, desktop, speakers (saving money for some nice monitors), bass, disco ball and ketchup bottle.

Yeah, I’ve always been a fan too.. unfortunately I’ll probably sell the N4 and get something smaller because it’s huge and I travel a lot.. but Numark rocks!

More pics by the end of this month, getting new speakers, a laptop stand, a bag for the N4 and maybe a small pad controller (LPD8 most likely, Korg NanoPAD is my second option).
