One, nearly two. He’s a big keyboard basher and knob twiddler, and the toys are on my desk to be repaired hence the soldering iron. It’s this endless stream of small jobs is what stops me from finishing my controller designs! I shall overcome and I shall publish some mixes. grits teeth

where did u go to get that flight case made? i was actually thinking of trying to make a custom case to hold my vci , and my motu ultralite, with holes in the back so i can plug them up easily to my computer.
It’s just a regular old flightcase used for a small live mixer. I just customized it for my needs… a couples pieces of foam, lond screws w/rubber washers, plastic panels and usb / firewire / rca panels.

man some of these setups are so so sick. corporation, fat limey and bentosan, swear ive seen these pics on dj forums.
puts me to shame with just my microkorg and vaio ![]()
cant wait to get my hands on the vci100 se and start mixing, complete noob to djing, but hoping to get it going as soon as that baby arrives in my hands.
Hopefully purchasing an Edirol ua25,WD 250 gb ext hd and some nice speakers to boot.
man i feel so behind ![]()
My set up is sooo ghetto. Not nearly as nice as everyone elses. its a little room crammed with gear! There are 3 more shelves of midi controllers, sound cards and a million other things. Plus I have gear stashed in brazil, berlin and now NY. Always traveling so everything I need has to fit in a back pack. Nice photos guys! Some day I hope to stay in one place long enough to have a big nice room again but for now its this work space I built in SF that serves as home about 3 months out of the year.
I don’t have this setup anymore but I think I’m going back with a HS5500 and I’ve ordered a Korg Zero 4, can’t wait!!!
Ahh Ean I don’t think its about how nice or big the setup is that matters. Its more that you are comfortable and enjoy being in whatever space you have made for yourself.
Its a cliche but the saying goes you can have everything in the world and never be happy.
but I think these people just did not know how to rock the block
How about some pictures of the setups you guys have on a DJ booth.
Haha yeah mine is so ghetto too i do have plans on setting it up nicer in the future when i have time knock down a wall, but until then i have everything in a nice close reachable distance that does not require moving around a whole lot, so it serves me well for the moment. Its not how big it is, its how you use it
lol !
i agree with BentoSan,Its not how big it is, its how you use it lol !

It’s not fancy, but it enables me to get alot done.
Not fancy…
I’m still using the box my VCI-100 came in to raise it to usable height. And this is on top of my clothes press.
I have a long way to go…
