Dj TechTools is hiring

There are so many great things to be done around here and I barely have the time to scratch the surface. So to try and offer the community more mappings, reviews and products we need to hire some help.

The right candidate is familiar with or willing to learn:

  • basic electronics soldering/repair/modifications (truly basic stuff)
  • video production/editing (also very basic)
  • midi programming
  • digital djing in general
  • online community tools
  • e commerce tools

You are going to:

  • be my right hand assistant
  • help with making videos
  • ship orders
  • work on mods
  • test out new gear
  • test mappings and midi configurations
  • go to events like namm and learn about new stuff
  • generally have a great time making cool things!

This position:

  • is paid (rate is negotiable)
  • is part-time (expanding into full time depending on how good the fit is)

What we can offer:
A position with a company that already has a respected name and a very bright future in the Dj Technology world. There is major growth potential here for the right candidate. You will learn many aspects of the dj business through our work with the top companies and products in the world.

Too damn bad I do not live in the US :disappointed:

If i was in the states i would so give up my day job to take you up on this offer !

and you know we would take you in a heart beat bento

Is this a physical in-person only opportunity or is this available via other channels as well?

This seems like a great opportunity. Also, is there anything available in an intern-type position?

If you ever need a European represent, then I would also jump my day job for this, even work for free haha  (maybe not for free, id be in trouble with raising my kid hehe) Good luck finding someone!

damn too bad i’m in San Diego and not in the bay area anymore

Damn! I shulda chosen the bay when I moved!

God this coast sucks!

if i only had the time, i might be interested. good move though. having another hand will take the site further.

yea hard out jealous of whoever gets this. keen to fly them in from overseas?

that’s a sweet P/T gig!

wish i lived on the Fresh Coast!

Damn, thats tight for DJTT. Too bad we dont have more people from the bay area on this forum, I’m stuck in L.A., and if I was in SF I would jump on it. Quick, hope you guys find someone quick.

so this is in the bay area ? I may just have to email my resume

jeezelouize this would be the raddest job. does anyone know if age will play a factor. i just applied but i’m only 19…crossing ffingers..

I dont think age is a big factor if one at all - the most imporant part is what skills you can bring to the table.

sweet, thats what i figured but being 19 in the Dj world has its disadvantages and that would suck if this was one of them.

Nah, I was DJing at clubs regularly when I was 17. Never let an obstacle like that stand in your way. Especially one as benign as age!

yeah totally, i mean ive played in bars and stuff, its just always a little nerve racking you know.

hmmm,
maybe now is time to get stuck back into that teleportation device project!
