Doing a live recording

Had a quick forum search, 90% of it was live mixes, im looking for software (pc/mac dosent matter) for doing video/audio recirdings, tried using iMovie on the mac but it dosent support line in AFAIK

In the input setting are you sure you had “use audio port” set to Sound Input

Just tried iMovie here and it worked fine :-S
