Filters in traktor pro 2
Are the the same as pro. I mean in the way that when turned slightly, they make a horrible sound. I’m talking the default ones not the xone ones.

They got that sorted with 2.1.1 update.
i recommend you to use the xone filter. it´s way smoother!

i installed it but am doing a stack of track analysing that i didn’t bother to do before pc is now running rather slowly… be cool to see how it runs tho once this is finished.
i checked my inbox but nothing from NI about the update yet last one was kindly reminding me that the X1 offer was still available

What’s changed?
No, I meant the Ladder and the Xone filters. Both have improved drastically. The Ladder filter has much less resonance, so that your ears don’t bleed when using the high pass… and the Xone seems to have a little more resonance so that it does pack a little more punch. Both are smoother than they were before.
We are talking about the mixer section filters, not the FX Unit ones. Ladder and Xone

Any improvements done to the FX unit filters? I know there’s been complaints about the 92 filter not replicating the true Xone filters sounds, & the noise on initial engagement of the filters.

That’ll probably never come back because they had so many complaints about it bogging down the system. Maybe they’ll look at it again with multi core suport. I almost never use the Itunes node in traktor because I import music folders at startup.
Oh what a pleasant surprise! The Xone filter was certainly a bit harsh!

Wasn’t it just ladder or xone? Or did it change in pro2
It’s wierd though… like it’s not hard for itunes itself to do it. Also the artwork is in the deck when you play it.
I just kind of only want one library where i organise my sh*t…
Maybe i’m being think though and there’s something simple i should be doing like ticking a box?
Is there a simple way to get the music in and not be juggling the two libraries??
